Once the interior walls are surfaced and sealed we are having bead-board and chair-rails installed along the sides and back of the sanctuary. The interior walls will then be painted and we will be ready for vinyl tiles to be put down in the kitchen and rest rooms, and carpeting throughout the rest of the church.
New cabinets will be installed in the kitchen, church office and the small class-room, and book shelves along the west wall of the Pastor's study.
The officers of the church and WIC are busy planning the furnishings and supplies which will then be purchased and moved in while finishing touches are being made to the interior and exterior structure. Once the re-construction is completed on the building itself and the electricity is turned back on we will be ready for our occupancy certificate. With that we will be able to set up an office to oversee the final stages of getting the building ready for regular use.
We need to purchase shelving, class room tables and chairs, bulletin boards, file cabinets, a desk and chair for the study, internet components, decorations, office supplies, a refrigerator, range, microwave, trash cans, folding chairs and tables, audio-visual equipment, a drape for behind the pulpit area, and a few other supplies.
Work must also be done on our lawn and gardens, church sign, fence, playground, sound system, storage shed and parking area.
We believe the re-design will make our church comfortable for all of us as a place for worship and fellowship, and inviting to those who visit. Please keep this effort in you daily prayers as we work to make the best use of all the Lord has entrusted to us for his glory.
