This week the actual restoration work was behind us and we were doing some of the renovations that we felt should be done as long as we were doing so much construction. Our nursery furniture looks wonderful in a freshly painted and carpeted room. The old Iron work on the porch has been replaced with white columns, The old doors have been replaced with new ones that work better and look better. Outside we had the entire lawn mowed for the first time in 8 months. Inside we have been busy figuring the best way to arrange and use our class room and sanctuary space. The PODs were emptied and removed and in their place is a temporary dumpster to haul away the cartons from the new furniture and some old items that were in the PODs but which we don't plan to use.
